Friday was the halfway point through my 6 week deadlift program, with 330 for my 5x10 deads. Went way faster than usual. Typically on volume days I find myself resting 5-8 minutes between sets 3 and 4. My longest rest between sets was 4 minutes. Had to split my shrugs into 10 sets instead of 5 due to callus drama, but they went fast as well.
Today I went in to do a few squats, finished off my lower body with a set of RDLs at 225 to failure, got 15 reps. Afterward I hit some rows - finally hit 20 reps at 120lb. Felt pretty good til I dropped the weight on the outer edge of my right foot's big toe. I expect it'll be bruised nicely tomorrow.
Monday is my first training day where a work set on deadlifts involves 5 plates - 495x1+, going for 3 like I've done on my last few heavy sessions.
