I got my Titan Brahma belt in yesterday, deadlifted with it for my heavy sets. Felt awful on deadlifts, the thickness made it dig into my ribs. Sucked on shrugs because my arms rubbed on it. Squatted with it today, and it was a world of difference between that and my little Valeo bodybuilding style belt. Felt solid to push against, and it kept me from tiring out before my PR attempt on a few heavy-ish warmups.
Hit 455lb low bar with a little grind on the way up. It felt shallow but looks good from the video, which you can view here.
Rehab continues. I'm feeling like the circuits I'm doing are helpful - light weight, high rep, moving through 6-7 movements without rest. Today was the 50lb fixed barbell moving through: curls, incline bench, pendlay rows, overhead press, upright rows, cuban press. Followed that up with some ridiculously high reps on 30lb tricep extensions while I watched some clown suck at deadlifting.
We took a new pic of my back today - pretty clear progress from the last pic. The weird patch on my upper back is just wear the squat bar knurling rubs. The red bumps are not acne... they're ingrown hairs, which I'm fucking COVERED in since the Nair Incident. And they hurt. Anyway, here's pic #1, pic #2. Yes, I'm fat and yes, I do suck at posing. Regardless, this is pretty noticeable progress for me and I'm quite pleased! In case you missed it, here's my progress pic from 2 months ago.
