Seriously, fuck tabatas. First time tonight, done on a bike at 50% resistance. Could barely walk afterward. It was intense. I'll obviously be doing more, because they beat me down pretty hard and I'm pretty sure they'll do wonders for my conditioning.
I did a few squats tonight, was shooting for a bigger PR of 450+ but only hit 440. Was a little tired from yesterday's volume session. I had my belt too tight on the 440 and it choked me out at the bottom, it was nearly impossible to push out of the hole, and after the grind I had nothing left for another attempt. I'm pretty sure I could hit 450-460 rested without the belt choking me.
Hit some light weight rehab type stuff, 3x15 @ 30lb, circuit of 7 lifts, with about 2 mins rest between each circuit. Curl, reverse curl, seated press, bench press, pendlay row, behind the neck press, upright row. Felt pretty good on the triceps. Felt dirty as shit doing what basically amounts to a Les Mills BodyPump class, but hey, it's rehab.
